I'm fairly new to the world of jewelry making. By trade, I'm a musician and educator, but now I'm slowly and steadily perfecting my skills as an artisan, and it feels great! 

Harmony and design captivate me; countless hours can pass and I'm still playing with beads and stones, or lyrics and harmonies, until I come up with something I like, something I consider beautiful. 

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a little more than a stone's throw from the majestic Rocky Mountains.  And from time to time, on a clear night, I can see Venus, the Evening Star, shimmering away.

Sometimes, when I’m mixing and blending beads or notes…I like to think she and I are collaborating, bringing beauty into form.

Venus is our muse, and her inspiration is endless! She is the Goddess of Beauty and the Evening Star, and so our site bears her name.
